Unions are the backbone of Georgia’s economy.

With worker protections diminishing across the United States, it’s time for Georgia to take a stand ensuring workers receive the pay and benefits that are much deserved. We must protect and strengthen Georgia’s unions, and increase the state minimum wage from the current $5.15 an hour, one of the lowest state minimum wages in the nation.

As your State Representative, I will:

  • Enact legislation raising the state minimum wage from $5.15 an hour to at least $12 an hour to keep current with inflation rates and cost of living.

  • Give workers better protections and equal treatment for all workers.

  • Support legislation protecting and expanding our unions, and strengthening collective bargaining.

  • Enact legislation the eliminates right-to-work laws in Georgia, and passing legislation banning discrimination from the workplace.

  • Enact legislation that provides equal pay for women and men.
